Refund Policy

1. General Policy

Refunds are assessed case by case, based on the work completed and delivered at the time of your request. Where a refund is not appropriate, we will first offer to correct the work. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.

2. Free Manuscript Audit

The audit is free, so there is nothing to refund. It never requires payment or card details.

3. Editing Services

Before work begins: full refund. After work begins but before delivery: refund of the unworked portion, assessed by word count or hours completed. After delivery of the edited manuscript: no refund, but we will complete any included revision rounds you have not yet used.

4. Ghostwriting Services

Ghostwriting is milestone-based. You may stop the project at any milestone boundary; fees for completed and delivered chapters are non-refundable, and any unstarted milestone payment is returned in full. Work delivered and paid for remains yours to use.

5. Cover Design & Interior Formatting

Before initial concepts or proofs are delivered: full refund. After concepts or proofs are delivered: up to 50% refundable at our discretion. After final files are delivered: no refund, as the deliverable has been transferred to you in full.

6. Publishing & Distribution Consultation

Consultation and setup fees are refundable in full if cancelled before the first platform submission. Once accounts and listings have been configured, fees are non-refundable because the work cannot be returned.

7. How to Request a Refund

Email info@publishspark.com with your name, project, invoice reference, and the reason for the request. We acknowledge within 2 business days and give a written decision within 10 business days.

8. Non-Refundable Items

Some costs cannot be recovered once incurred, including:

• ◆Third-party fees such as ISBN registration, platform charges, and proof copies.
• ◆Advertising spend already placed with a platform.
• ◆Licensed stock imagery or fonts purchased for your project.
• ◆Rush fees where the expedited schedule has already been performed.
