How we approach book marketing
Marketing works best when it starts before release day and is measured honestly afterwards. Here is what a typical engagement looks like and what you can expect from it.
Start with the book, not the channel
Before spending anything, we look at your genre, comparable titles, cover, description, and price. Ads cannot fix a listing that does not convert, so we fix the listing first. Often the cheapest improvement is a sharper description or better categories.
Pre-launch: reviews and readers
Six to eight weeks out, we organise advance review copies, set up a simple landing page and newsletter sign-up, and plan launch-week activity. Early honest reviews give later ads something to build on.
Advertising with clear limits
Amazon and Meta campaigns start small and scale only when the numbers justify it. You approve the budget ceiling, and ad spend is paid directly by you to the platform, so you always see exactly where the money went.
Reporting you can understand
Each report covers spend, clicks, sales, and read-through in plain language, plus what we are changing and why. If a channel is not working for your book, we will say so and move the budget elsewhere rather than keep spending.
